This list is floor-to-ceiling filled with the very easy platinum trophies that boil their blood. There’s a large subsect of elitist trophy hunters who will call out any hunter they see with easy platinum trophies like “My Name is Mayo” or “Slyde” on their trophy list, telling them that by earning these trophies they have essentially de-legitimised their entire collection. Why? Well, it’s been beaten into me by the community, I suppose.
Lately, though, I’ve become more selective about what Platinums I want and so will often use my alt account (PlatGet_DblTap) when I need to earn a cheap game for a trophy guide. When I first started trophy hunting I must have earned about 50 trophies in the space of a few weeks because MrZhangetsu and I were bulking out our numbers with a few easy platinum trophies. I’ve been known to farm the quick and easy platinum trophies in the past. Even if that means playing a game several times just to stack region and console-specific Platinum trophies together. As long as there’s a Platinum to be had, they are glad to have it no matter how easy the platinum trophy was. The majority of Trophy Hunters, however, collect for the sake of collecting. Others only go for the most difficult of games so that their collection can be worn with honour and pride.
